An Exotic Affair
I think I’ve mentioned before that I like color? Culture? Love?

Well take all of those things, mix them together, add one Liesl for a day and I’m in heaven!

The family heirloom necklace.

This woman was trained in the art of pinning Saris!

The Baraat ceremony with the white horse

It was so crowded that I almost stepped in some formidable substance to get this close ;-)

I adore fathers.

And brothers.

And crying mothers.

I love all the dance performances at Indian weddings!

This ceremony and reception was held at the Rochester Convention Center in Rochester, NY.

Thank you so much for letting me into your lives for such an important day!

Dear Liesl
I enjoy your pictures, the way you show moments, movements, emotions, colours.Especially I enjoy the humour in your photography. The emotions come through your photos as if I were there. It happens very seldom that I am moved that much by a photo…

Liesl, you are not “just” a photographer – for me, you are a seer. You see things through your lens that other never notice. But what I love most about your pictures is that you cature the soul and live of a moment, of a person, of a day. Congratulations for your great work! Klaus (your friend from fb)
