Iram & Salman were wed at the Chicago Marriott Schaumburg this past November.

You can see their Mendi from the evening before at this link, and their preparation at this blog post.

This is their formal portrait on the stage designed by Amer Design Studio. I highly recommend Amer, he is a delightful person and he knows how to transform a room!

I know this sounds cliché, but I really think it would have been impossible to take a bad photo of these two!

Iram is so incredibly beautiful, her make up was styled by Mehwish Khan.

The banquet room is a beautiful mix of open elegance and warm timber frame ceilings.

I know I am lucky, you can tell me again and again but trust me, I already know. I am an artist, and even better, I am paid to be an artist.

As if that isn’t enough, add on top of that fact that I get to photograph beautiful people at beautiful events looking their best and it is a constant flow of creativity!

BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE!

All of those fabulously lucky things would be nearly meaningless if I didn’t have clients that trusted me. They trust me completely, and on such a crucial day. This trust gives me the freedom to look around me and be as creative as possible with what these eyes see.

Most people would have seen a pile of dirt and a garbage dumpster by the smoking area for staff at a pub.

I saw light bouncing off a reflective yellow building and back onto this little bush I put Kristen & Jon in front of.

The Landscape of Love

With so many unique individuals, attracted to even MORE unique individuals, one has to admit that love looks a little different for everyone.

But it is always beautiful.

Jon is a landscape artist, so when he and Kristin hired me to shoot their wedding, which included a ceremony in their front lawn, I knew it would be a unique visual treat!

Kristin & Jon had a small cocktail hour before everyone escaped to the reception venue. I absolutely love the trees in their yard, and the fall decor was perfect!

I love fall weddings, and I was so excited when Kristin & Jon hired me to shoot their wedding this past fall because the ceremony took place at their home, and Jon is a landscape artist!
