Ben & Becky Jekyll Island Extravaganza!

I met Ben and Becky eons ago when I was in college and have kept up with them via facebook over the years. I was incredibly humbled when the contacted me to photograph their destination wedding on Jekyll Island, Georgia!

So once the rain stopped, Sunny and Cameron joined me by the water on the Jefferson Landing, NC premises for some fun portraits! It was hard to get their entire wedding party into one shot, but I managed!

I really enjoyed their playful mood, and Cameron had NO difficulty making Sunny laugh and smile, an excellent quality in a husband ;-)

Cameron & Sunny chose a beautiful place to wed, and fortunately the weather cooperated! Sunny is escorted by her father to an outdoor tent ceremony at the Jefferson Landing Club.

And as soon as they walk down the aisle, the rain POURED down!

Luckily for all of us, it didn’t last and cleared up just in time for portraits which I will post soon!

Sunny Gets Ready to Groove at The Jefferson Landing Club, NC!

Sunny & Cameron were married on June 12, 2010 at one of North Carolina’s best kept secrets! The Jefferson Landing Club in Jefferson, NC is not only an unexpected thing to find in that small town, but it is simply gorgeous! Sunny prepared for the wedding at a suite on the private grounds. Peter & Karena’s Riverwalk Wedding Portraits!

Karena & Peter were the first couple to ever marry at the Moser Carillon Tower! After the ceremony, when the weather permitted, we went for a jaunt around The River Walk in the heart of Naperville for a fun variety of portraits! You can see all my favorites here!

Peter & Karena were married on June 5, 2010 at the Millennium Carillon Tower right by the Naperville, IL River Walk.

Luckily, the rain held off for the ceremony. I loved this entire park area and can’t wait to post up some portraits from this wedding! I think Karena & Peter win my “most laid-back couple of the century” award!

Angela & Brian at Prince Resort

This past weekend I photographed with Brooke Christl, and in addition to realizing that we both know WAY too many show tunes and tend to bring out the dorky side in each other, we also got to take some photos of some amazingly fun people! Joshua & Mary Anne Pittsburgh Wedding!

Joshua & Mary Anne had me travel up to Pittsburgh, PA for their March 30, 2010 wedding at The Sisters of The Holy Spirit. They were incredibly hospitable!

Mary Anne helps her sister Jane with some finishing touches.

This scene is very precious because Mary Anne’s mother made the wedding gown by hand. It was, of course, a perfect fit!
