This is their formal portrait on the stage designed by Amer Design Studio. I highly recommend Amer, he is a delightful person and he knows how to transform a room!

I know this sounds cliché, but I really think it would have been impossible to take a bad photo of these two!

Iram is so incredibly beautiful, her make up was styled by Mehwish Khan.

Iram’s Ghaghra Choli was a gorgeous red with gold details and green accents on the jewelry. Stunning!

As if that isn’t enough, add on top of that fact that I get to photograph beautiful people at beautiful events looking their best and it is a constant flow of creativity!

BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE!

All of those fabulously lucky things would be nearly meaningless if I didn’t have clients that trusted me. They trust me completely, and on such a crucial day. This trust gives me the freedom to look around me and be as creative as possible with what these eyes see.

Most people would have seen a pile of dirt and a garbage dumpster by the smoking area for staff at a pub.

I saw light bouncing off a reflective yellow building and back onto this little bush I put Kristen & Jon in front of.

simple.

Love her purple heels!

But it is always beautiful.

Jon is a landscape artist, so when he and Kristin hired me to shoot their wedding, which included a ceremony in their front lawn, I knew it would be a unique visual treat!

Kristin & Jon had a small cocktail hour before everyone escaped to the reception venue. I absolutely love the trees in their yard, and the fall decor was perfect!

They are high school sweethearts and now they both work at Bank of America and are also into running. The real kind of running; the kind most of us look at as some kind of super hero power because they do it for hours and hours on end. This can only lead me to believe that, since they are both sweethearts, love running, and both work at Bank of America, that within a couple of years they will be Sweetly Running Bank of America!

Hey, it makes sense to me!

We started our portrait session at the Chicago Board of Trade

As we walked toward the intersection of Jackson & LaSalle I saw this light dancing back and forth between the buildings, I love it!
