Over the past year I have been to Malibu, CA, Minneapolis, MN, Chicago, New York City, Las Vegas, Naperville, Milwaukee, Streamwood, Oak Park, Pittsburgh, Myrtle Beach, Charlotte, Jefferson Landing, Raleigh, Wake Forest, Pinehurst, even the Red River Gorge!

So where am I right now?

I know a lot of people.  But I only know one man who has the unique skill of creating a ceramic ninja mug.

Andrew Tarrant of Trespasser Ceramic and I have an ongoing banter about whether my ninja skills could take down his gigantic frame, which is trained in the sissy art of Aikedo and some kind of Midieval warfare where the men actually have to wear suits of armor (ninjas NEVER need armor) and use shields (they probably use the shields in case a ninja is around).

One day a package arrived at my door, and I just about dropped my shuriken on the spot when I saw what was inside!  My very own custom designed hand crafted NINJA MUG!!!!  Check out Andy’s site to see how he does this, it’s crazy awesome.

What do I love most about my ninja mug, other than the fact that my coffee is protected 24/7 by a band of tiny ninjas?  Andy designed the saucer to double as a lid, so my morning mug-o-ninja-joe stays piping hot!

On Sunday I did my first ever bridal show!

Although I’ve been shooting for nearly 7 years I never did a show until I moved down to the beautiful sunshiney south!

This hanging system is something I’ve had for a long time, it’s infinitely adjustable and even has shelves!  I picked it up at Pottery Barn!

I met a ton of awesome people and look forward to working with many of you this coming year!

As promised, I am back to blogging, and I have a TON to catch you all up with since I’ve been MIA for a couple of months!

Back in November I went climbing at The Red River Gorge in Kentucky!

In preparation for two upcoming bridal shows I have been working on the redesign of my portfolio wedding and portrait website!

That ever work-in-progress website, along with full time school, two crazy-awesome kids and a photo biz has been keeping me pretty hopping!

With sanity quickly finding me (don’t worry, we never unite for too long) I finally am ready to turn back into my usual blog-o-ramic self!

I am totally PSYCHED for my upcoming Psych Talk in Pittsboro, NC!  Martha Manning is hosting me in her sweet studio on November 17th!  Come join us from 7-10pm and some fun socializing afterwards!
