Shahzeen & Prem chose The Chicago Botanic Garden for their engagement session location, the grounds were beautiful with a lot of variety!
We had so much fun walking around and finding spots to shoot, and I quickly learned that not only are they both super sweet people, but they have a great sense of humor! I cannot wait to photograph their ceremony in September!
You can see more of my favorites on their facebook album!
See you both very soon!

Once we were oriented on where the Japanese gardens were we headed along the manicured paths.

Shahzeen has such a sweet and gentle disposition.

Have I mentioned that I seem to get the most beautiful clients?

I love Prem’s expression in this image, they were both so peaceful and kind and I feel it really shows in this photo.

So it’s not a big secret that my favorite color is green. Well, orange is a close second, so when I saw this beautiful grass and Shahzeen’s head scarf I insisted that she sit down for me so that I could make some orange and green images! Yeah, I’m selfish like that.
How cute is she!

The Jefferson Landing Club is a great spot because it has a huge hall for the reception room, a separate room by the bar with a lounge area for guests, and a fantastic huge deck with a gorgeous view of the area!
Sunny and Cameron were fun all day long, and didn't slow down when the reception hit!
They get groovy!

So once the rain stopped, Sunny and Cameron joined me by the water on the Jefferson Landing, NC premises for some fun portraits! It was hard to get their entire wedding party into one shot, but I managed!
I really enjoyed their playful mood, and Cameron had NO difficulty making Sunny laugh and smile, an excellent quality in a husband ;-)

Cameron & Sunny chose a beautiful place to wed, and fortunately the weather cooperated! Sunny is escorted by her father to an outdoor tent ceremony at the Jefferson Landing Club.
And as soon as they walk down the aisle, the rain POURED down!
Luckily for all of us, it didn't last and cleared up just in time for portraits which I will →

Karena & Peter were the first couple to ever marry at the Moser Carillon Tower! After the ceremony, when the weather permitted, we went for a jaunt around The River Walk in the heart of Naperville for a fun variety of portraits! You can see all my favorites here!

Peter & Karena were married on June 5, 2010 at the Millennium Carillon Tower right by the Naperville, IL River Walk.
Luckily, the rain held off for the ceremony. I loved this entire park area and can't wait to post up some portraits from this wedding! I think Karena & Peter win my "most laid-back couple of the century" award!
